Proven Pantry is an independent kitchen product review and cooking guide website built for home cooks in the United States. We research cookware, knives, appliances, and gadgets so you can spend less time comparing products and more time cooking.

Why We Started

We started Proven Pantry because we were frustrated with kitchen product reviews that felt like ads. Too many sites recommend whatever pays the highest commission. We wanted to build something different — a resource where every recommendation is earned through actual research, not sponsorship deals.

Today, we cover everything from chef's knives and cast iron skillets to air fryers and ice cream makers. Our reviews are read by thousands of home cooks every month, and we take that responsibility seriously.

Our Editorial Process

Every product we recommend goes through a structured research process. We analyze expert reviews from sources like America's Test Kitchen, Wirecutter, and Consumer Reports. We aggregate user feedback from Amazon, Reddit, and cooking forums. We compare specifications, materials, and warranties. And where possible, we test products hands-on in our own kitchens.

We publish honest findings, including the downsides. If a product isn't worth buying, we'll tell you. If a $40 knife outperforms a $200 one, we'll recommend the $40 knife.
